Day 26: 30 Days of Gratitude

I am grateful today for the voice of the Lord.

I am grateful because He is faithful to lead me in the way He wants me to go. I don’t always listen carefully, and every so often the noise in my life hides His voice. Nevertheless, I believe that He always guides me — whether I want to hear Him and listen to Him or not.

Many years ago, I took the course, “Experiencing God” by Henry Blackaby for the first time. The Lord really changed my life through it.

Reality #4: God speaks by the Holy Spirit Through the Bible, Prayer, Circumstances, and the Church to Reveal Himself, His Purposes, and His ways.

Experiencing God, Henry Blackaby

I/we have heard Him speak to us through the years, and He has always proved Himself trustworthy. He always knows the right way to go.

God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son.      Hebrews 1:1

Today, I’m grateful for His voice and His guidance.

  1. I’ve done Henry Blackaby’s EXPERIENCING GOD 3 times–long ago. Each time I was in a different place and was challenged to trust God’s leading more than before. Definitely faith-building and life-changing. I’m thankful for the aurhors and scribes of the Scriptues and also many of today’s Christian authors.
