Day 23: 30 Days of Gratitude

Today, I am grateful that I/we can live here in Ukraine and be the hands and feet of Jesus to a marginalized community. I won’t bother trying to convince anyone that I always like living here. But I am always glad that today we have the opportunity to tell so many who don’t really know what hope is that there is a Real Hope in Jesus Christ.

We certainly do not hold the plans to know what tomorrow will bring. Or next week. Or next year. But for this moment we are here, and we have a weighty opportunity, and I’m thankful to God for that.

Would you join us in praying for the lost and the hopeless?

Chris and his family serve as missionaries near Kyiv, Ukraine. Chris and his wife, Mary, have nine children. Five of their children have Down syndrome and four of those are adopted from Ukraine. Their four older children are in various stages of starting college and starting careers.

  1. Absolutely praying for many opportunities to share the Gospel with those who are weighted down with burdens. May they seek eternal hope through the Light of Jesus and lay their burdens at His feet. God bless you in all you do.

Chris and Mary. God seems to place you in the right place at the right time. You are in our prayers daily that you will be right where God wants you to be to witness to a lost world. We pray for your family as well . Thank you for caring.
